About this calculation

How the rent paid-to position is worked out

Payments and rent credits are added, while adjustments or reversals are subtracted. That balance is applied from the rent commencement date through each rent period in sequence. Payment dates remain in the history but do not restart the rent cycle.

Weekly and monthly rent

Weekly rent uses seven-day periods anchored to the commencement date. Monthly rent follows real calendar-month boundaries, including February and month-end start dates. Part payments are apportioned within the applicable period.

Expected rent and estimated arrears

Expected rent is the scheduled rent from commencement through today, or through the supplied tenancy end date if that is earlier. Estimated rent owing measures the unpaid part of that same schedule, so historical rent changes are applied to the dates when they were in effect.

Check the official records

This is an independent estimate. Compare it with the tenancy agreement, receipts and complete official rent ledger. See current RTA rent-payment guidance where obligations or records matter.
